My trip is not as often a tourist, but I was invited by the Culinary Academy and its president Mr Whang, to deepen new synergies for 2020. Italian cuisine is always the ideal gateway to get in touch with new cultures, and my risotto “Queen Victoria” is the key emblem of knowledge.
The Culinary Academy in Shenzhen is the flagship of China’s private schools, one of the most important. I found guys prepared and full of initiative, I cooked with them in a “melting pot” between the stove and, who knows, maybe this is one of the first steps towards the future.
A brief introduction to Shenzhen: it is located on the southern coast of Guangdong Province, near the Dapeng Gulf in the east, the mouth of the Pearl River in the west and Hong Kong in the south. It is 160 km from Guangzhou and 35 km from Hong Kong. Shenzhen is one of the most modern and beautiful coastal cities in China. On its coast, more than 70 km long, many beaches are distributed by clear water and white sand.
See you on the next trip!
