On the evening of 6 April, the day before the meeting, the Euro-Toques chefs met at Mario Cornali’s Restaurant Collina in Almenno San Bartolomeo (Bg), also a Euro-Toques member, for a dinner organized in collaboration with Euro-Toques and Italy at Table.
The evening was attended by Euro-Toques members Ciccio Sultan,of the Cathedral of Ragusa (two Michelin stars), Annie Féolde of the Pinchiorri wine shop (three Michelin stars in Florence) and Umberto Bombana of the Eight and a Half Bombana in Hong Kong (seven Michelin stars in 4 different restaurants, of which the one in Hong Kong has three, making the Bombana restaurant the only Italian dismal overseas). During the dinner, plaques were also handed over to the new Euro-Toques members, including Cornali himself.
